LILY
The lily, a timeless 3,500-year-old religious symbol, referred to originally in Minoan Crete. The revolution of 1821 is inextricably linked to the day of the Annunciation of the Virgin, where the lily plays a dominant symbolic role. Its shape symbolizes fertility, its leaves evoke humility and its white color expresses purity, honesty & peace. Perhaps the most ideal symbol for a year of “rebirth”.
